Kerryaunna Ross is from Kansas City, MO. Growing up the oldest and only girl out of four children, she aspired to dream big and different from the other kids. She began her dancing journey at age 3, and after learning from the studios at Alvin Ailey, Kansas City Ballet and Forever Dancing, she realized dance was her passion. She graduated from Lindenwood University with a BA in Dance with a minor in business. At Lindenwood she was active in multiple organizations and a Dean’s List recipient. Kerryaunna’s philosophy is that dance should be accessible to everyone and has had opportunities to work with many non-profits and summer camps, including Em’s Spotlight, to help give back to her community. She also had the pleasure of meeting and performing for important influencers such as Debbie Allen and Misty Copeland . Kerryaunna’s main motto is “There is no progress without struggle” - Frederick Douglas.
