Rachel Tegtmeier is a recent graduate of Webster University with a B.F.A. in Dance with an emphasis in Ballet. She grew up in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky where she began dancing at the age of three.  While attending the Arc Danz summer program in Puebla, Mexico, she explored Cunningham technique with Andrea Weber while working with Mexico’s premiere contemporary choreographers Angel Arambula and Karen de Luna.  During her time at Webster University, Rachel had the opportunity to work with artists such as Michael Uthoff, Eve Mason, Alicia Graf-Mack, Maggi Dueker, and others. Rachel is excited to diverge from ballet and explore site-specific work with Leverage Dance Theater.
