Keli Brook Hermes (Assistant Director) is from Dallas, Texas. She graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 2006 with a BFA in Modern Dance Performance. Upon graduation, Keli danced four seasons with Modern American Dance Company (MADCO) in St. Louis performing works by Robert Battle, Michael Foley, Jon Beasant III, and Cecil Slaughter. In 2011, Keli joined Leverage Dance Theater, previously aTrek Dance Collective, as a performer, and she quickly moved into choreographing and teaching for the company. In 2016, Keli accepted the assistant director position at Leverage Dance Theater and has advocated for positive dance environments where dancers feel supported both as artists and individuals. Additionally, Keli's choreography has been shown at Rockford University, 60×60 Dance, Cottey College, Lindenwood University, Principia College, The Big Muddy Dance Company Trainee Program, National Dance Week, and Creekview High School. Along with her position at Leverage, Keli teaches ages 6 to 60 at M&M Dance Academy.
